Built to bring professionalism to moving
Butter Brothers Moving Co. is a premium moving company in South Austin, built with one goal: to bring a professional standard to moving. Our trained crews have earned 330+ five-star Google reviews. Our promise is simple: moving made smooth.
Why I started Butter Brothers
Growing up in Michigan, I was always outside. I cut grass, laid mulch, worked out, and helped my dad in the yard. I've always liked hard, hands-on work, the kind where you can see exactly what you got done at the end of the day.
After college I started my career in finance. The whole time, I wanted to build something of my own: a business where I could work alongside a great team and take care of people.
Moving checked every box. It's demanding, hands-on work, and it's an industry where great service really stands out. Too many people have a moving-day story about a late crew, a scratched floor or a bill that kept growing. I had a real interest in moving and in making it better, so I bootstrapped Butter Brothers here in Austin and got to work.
The goal is simple: a local business that runs on professionalism, with a crew culture people are proud to be part of. We try to leave everyone better than we found them, whether that's a client on moving day or a mover on our team. If we do that well, Austin gets a little better too.
