- Shared housesMoving into or out of a rental house with roommates.
- Loading your own truck or containerAlready rented a truck or PODS? We can do just the heavy lifting with labor-only help.
- Packing, if you want itOut of time during finals? Our packers can do the whole room or just the kitchen.

When Students Move in Austin
August is the big one. Many student leases in Austin and San Marcos end and start in late summer, so a lot of students move in the same few days. Lease-end days fill up fast for every mover in town.
May is move-out month. When the spring semester ends, students head home for the summer or move to a new place.
The end of every month is busy too, because that's when most leases turn over.
Book as soon as you know your date. A few weeks ahead is good. Earlier is better for August.
Student Apartment Tips
- Reserve the elevatorBig student buildings in West Campus and Riverside often need an elevator reservation. Book it at both places, for your whole move window.
- Ask where the truck can parkAsk the leasing office about a loading zone or move-in parking. Our box trucks don't fit in most parking garages.
- Ask about move-in hours and rulesMany complexes only allow moves at set times, and some ask movers for a certificate of insurance. We provide those quickly.
- Check your key pickup timeMake sure you can get into the new place before the crew arrives.
- In San Marcos, ask the same questionsMany Texas State complexes have their own move-in rules on busy weekends.
Booking for Your Student?
Many of our student moves are booked and paid for by a parent. That's easy. Call us or get a quote online, and we'll walk you through every line of the estimate, so there are no surprises.
Just tell us who will meet the crew on moving day, you or your student.
Ready Before the Crew Arrives
- Boxes packed, taped and labeled (or ask about packing)
- Bed sheets off, drawers emptied of anything loose or breakable
- Both addresses, unit numbers, gate info and parking instructions shared with us
